unexpected curse

During my thesis, I aimed to design a point and click game in which manual animation plays a major role. My chosen technique is paper cutting, which fits well with the visuals of the game, and after creating the characters, I could use it to create animations very effectively. I was inspired by Amanita Design's game Pilgrims.
According to the story, a hysterical, malicious princess is cursed by a witch for behaving rudely. The princess turns into a chicken because of the curse. The royal couple is not particularly happy about this, so they instruct our main character, the court jester, to find a way to break the spell.
During the game, we try to transform the princess with food obtained from the characters, who always takes a new shape from them. First she turns into a lobster, then a vole, an elephant and an owl. In his various forms, she helps the court jester on his mission, trying out the activities of the people of the court. In the end, he realizes that everyone in the castle is useful, and when she changes back, her personality also improves. The target audience of the game is on a wider scale, as it is intended for both children and adults.
